About Us colours.gif

In 1991 Angela Palmer-Moore realised that there were very limited nursery places in the local area, particularly offering extended hours where working parents could leave their child with the utmost confidence.

Cookham Dean Nursery was opened in the wing of her house and has been successfully run as a warm and friendly nursery since.  From this point, over the years we have opened a further 6 nurseries in and around the area.

We were delighted to hear that recently one of our first children at Cookham Dean Nursery graduated from university!

blue bear.JPGWe know that initially leaving your child at nursery can be very hard and sometimes a worrying and emotional time, therefore we do everything we can to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your child.

We would love to show you around our nurseries and we are confident that when you visit us you will see all the opportunities we can offer you and your child.

Our Philosophy

Our overriding childcare philosophy is to provide a warm, safe and happy environment, in which each child receives stimulation correctly levelled at his/her own particular age and stage of development.

We believe that every child is a unique individual, full of potential and continually evolving. Therefore we place the well-being and development of all children at the heart of our practice.

Our play-based approach to learning and development enables us to understand each child’s needs and help him/her develop an appetite for life and an energetic curiosity for knowledge.red bear.JPG

We know that parents are children’s first and most enduring educators and realise that when parents and practitioners work in partnership, the results for the child are positive. Therefore we are dedicated to ensuring that you are confident your child is receiving the best possible care and education and are committed to communicating with all those who entrust their children in our care, in order that you achieve peace of mind.

Our Child Centered Approach
